The hot breakfast was cold. Others around me also complained of this. At least 4 strip lights flickered throughout in the dining area. There were no serviettes to be seen and some of the defrosting bakery items were fused together in a wet mush. Not great.......

I had a wonderful stay at Travelodge London Southwark. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone who wants to explore London with ease. Southwark station is just a short walk away, and iconic places like London Bridge, Borough Market, and the Thames riverside are all within walking distance. The connectivity made my trip extremely convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was neat, and the overall environment felt safe and peaceful after a long day of sightseeing. For a central London stay, this hotel offers excellent value for money. What truly made my experience exceptional was the support from the staff, especially the Assistant Manager ***. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and welcoming. His professionalism and willingness to assist with any queries made me feel genuinely cared for as a guest. It’s rare to see such warm hospitality, and Bhanu’s attitude added a personal touch to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London whether for tourism or business. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The location was good but the quality of the hotel was very poor. Shower wasn’t working well and partially broken. A blow dryer was available on request, but it was dirty and of very poor condition. Our cellphone data did not work in the hotel and they wanted to charge an expensive fee to use their WiFi. We won’t be back, and likely not to any Travelodge hotel again.
