We were a family of 4 adults and stayed one night in rooms 502 (standard) and 505 (Deluxe). Really beautiful rooms with stunning views; keyless entry; coffee pod machine in room; both rooms had balconies. Its in an unbeatable location with immediate proximity to excellent dining (e.g. Weisse Traube), fabulous coffee shops (e.g. Bistro 12 & Luna's Bar Cafe), and tons of retail shops. There is a supermarket next door and another large one across the road. There is a lovely walk nearby following the river. Would 100% stay here again as a stopover on the way to the Dolomites.
One of our rooms only had bedding and towels for one person, but they quickly corrected this. It's about a 12-minute walk from the train station. This could be either a minus or a plus. It's a nice walk through the town, but if you are not able to walk far, you can always catch a taxi

New property in the city center of Bolzano. The studio was beautiful and comfortable and the location was just perfect. Staff were very cordial and helpful which is very appreciative! Fully recommend this place!

My stay at Residence - Palais Hörtenberg in Bolzano was nothing short of exceptional — truly a 10/10 experience.
The location is absolutely strategic. Situated right in the heart of Bolzano, it allows you to explore the historic center, shops, restaurants, and main attractions all within easy walking distance. Whether you're visiting for leisure or business, you simply couldn’t ask for a better base.
The room was beautiful, spacious, and tastefully designed, blending elegance with comfort. The bathroom was equally impressive — large, modern, and impeccably maintained, offering both style and practicality.
Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, making the entire stay feel effortless and enjoyable.
Cleanliness deserves special mention: everything was spotless. From the room to the common areas, the level of hygiene was outstanding and clearly a top priority. Highly recommended!
Actually we would have liked to find complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, as has become the norm in most hotels nowadays. Maybe a nicer view from the room could have been desirable.
