About this house rental
Just 30 minutes from central London attractions by tube, this attractive family home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with fantastic south-facing garden and play area for the kids, and a raised decking area for enjoying al fresco meals. 5 minute walk to fantastic park and 5 minute drive to gorgeous Ruislip Woods and Ruislip Lido with endless options for walks. The high street of Ruislip Manor is 3 minutes walk away, with fantastic restaurants and pubs. Off road parking for 2 cars and 70 MBPS WIFI throughout the house (and in the garden). Smart TV with Disney+ and Prime. Main bedroom has king-sized bed with built-in wardrobes, shutters with blackout blinds, and ensuite bathroom (bath and shower). Second bedroom has single day bed that can be pulled out into a king size. Third bedroom/office has a double futon and a work station. All bedrooms have a fan. Downstairs living room has new L-shape sofa that seats 5 and a cosy love seat for 2. Everything described so far has been renovated in the last two years. The rest of the downstairs (kitchen, family bathroom and dining room) retains its classic 1970s charm as can be seen in the photos. Dining room opens onto wooden decking above the garden, perfect for summer meals and watching the kids play in the garden. Garden features 7m trampoline (new safety netting installed June 2023) and climbing frame with swings, a slide, monkey bars and pirate tower in play area with soft rubber chipping underfoot. Closest tube is Ruislip Manor (Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines) which is 500 meters/7 minute walk away and Ruislip Gardens (Central line) is 1km/18 minute walk away.
Plenty of children’s toys, books and games - can be stored away if not required for your stay.
House had full electrical rewire in 2019, has carbon monoxide alarm and wired fire alarms. Fire extinguisher stored in kitchen. Security lighting and external security camera to the front of the property. Washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the garage.

They made us feel very welcome, they have opened up their home to guests rather than a holiday home rental, so their possessions are all around. The 4th Bedroom is actually a Sofa bed in the Living Room.
It is situated in a residential road, so is relatively quiet at night but is in walking distance to the local shops, restaurants and the Undergroud station.
