Bryn Mair Gardens

The hosts have created a wonderful balance of making guests feel genuinely cared for, while still fully respecting their privacy which is a difficult balance to master. As someone who travels solo frequently (usually at least once a month), I’m very used to booking single rooms and ending up in small, cramped spaces with noticeably fewer amenities. That was absolutely not the case here. The room was beautifully presented, with a proper bed frame and, most importantly for me, a sofa. That may sound like a small detail, but having recently recovered from a spinal injury, being confined to sitting on a bed for long periods simply isn’t practical. In many hotels, I’ve found myself sitting on the floor with my back against the bed instead. Having a comfortable sofa made an enormous difference, and I truly couldn’t have asked for more. The tea and coffee tray was exceptionally generous! it’s rare enough to find decaf coffee provided, let alone alongside quality coffee bags, fresh milk, and even a KitKat. Then when I mentioned to the lovely hosts how thrilled I was about the decaf coffee, more magically appeared outside my door to ensure I didn’t run out. Such thoughtful touches really stood out. The gardens are absolutely breathtaking. If they were owned by the National Trust, people would happily pay to spend an evening there. They are beautifully maintained and provide an incredibly peaceful setting. I ended up cancelling my evening plans last night just to sit in the garden and enjoy the chorus of the birds. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough and I simply can’t wait to come back

Absolutely loved every moment

We were very well cared for during our stay. The rooms are spacious and the gardens were lovely. We appreciated the early (7:30) breakfast option as we planned on hiking first thing. Centrally located with wonderful views of the town and countryside.

Beautiful property, friendly hosts, lovely food, beautifully appointed room with gorgeous view across the town to hills beyond.

Lovely cosy room which had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable also. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and gave us some good recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area. The B&B has beautiful gardens to sit in, and amazing views over town and over the hills. Breakfast was also excellent and it was nice to have some options outside the usual - pancakes, shakshuka etc

Shower pressure wasn’t super high but it was fine.
