We were attending a three day wedding and needed a base close by that would give us space for the kids and allow us a mini break by the beach. The house is beautiful, we loved the decor, the layout, the location is fantastic. The surrounding gardens are beautiful with wild rabbits darting here there and everywhere which was lovely. It was all really clean and well looked after.
There most definitely is a problem with the drains that absolutely needs looking into. A foul odour would emanate from the bathroom and the large cupboard in the kitchen, and linger all day, making us all feel rather queasy. We wouldn't have been able to just relax in the house with the smell that bad so we were lucky it was just our base. There is a guestbook in the house where numerous people have written about this smell. So I wonder if it's a problem that has occurred in the last year as the latest review on booking.com doesn't mention it.
Opposite the house there was a large bouncy castle and trampoline park that had been set up directly infront of the house which wasn't in any of the photos. The photos show a clean and tidy tennis court with picnic tables - which it is definetly not, I wouldn't have booked if I had seen this which is why im sure it's never mentioned. The music blasting can be annoying if you want to relax outside. It would be a 10/10 without the bouncy castles trampolines and drain issues.

Amazing location - comfortable and great space.
Poor communication - no reply to emails/telephone number provided to answer queries. No dishwasher.

great location is enough to get over the negatives
Very basic and rustic in parts. Could do with updating and/or a refresh. Some areas are a little bodged together and unfortunately railings were falling off which isn’t great with a 3 year old and baby.
