Location. Location. Location! Situated right in the heart of the town yet close to free long stay parking and surprisingly quiet. The heating was on for our evening arrival so was warm and cosy on a cold night (this is an example of the thoughtfulness of the owners). For a studio, it was very well equipped and had a great vibe. It was exactly as represented in the pre-booking description and yes, the stair is narrow and steep but we expected that (a minor trade off for everything else that was perfect).

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence ist eine Provinzstadt im Herzen der Provence mit vielen Cafés, Bars, Restaurants und Geschäften für den täglichen Bedarf. Die Wohnung liegt in der Altstadt, trotzdem eine sehr ruhige Lage. Auch gut geeignet für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung selbst ist ansprechend und wohnlich eingerichtet.
Der Eingang zur Wohnung liegt im ZWEITEN Stockwerk. Dann muss man noch eine Treppe rauf. Die Wohnung liegt also im DRITTEN Stockwerk. Das sollte klar in der Beschreibung zur Wohnung angegeben werden. Ein gebührenfreier Dauerparkplatz ist ca. 800 Meter entfernt.

The apartment is delightful, really charming, beautifully decorated, and full of light, we loved it. Being right in the old centre of St Remy was fabulous. Everything required for a self catering stay was perfect. We enjoyed the markets being right outside our door and all the restaurants close by. The only slight issue is that you need to go up 3 steep flights of stairs, but this did not spoil our stay. Our host kindly advised us where to park free of charge for the 4 days, saving us quite some Euros, which was wonderfully helpful. In our month spent in France this was by far the loveliest and most authentic place we stayed.
We disliked nothing, our stay was perfect.
