Finely furnished apartment a few steps away from the wonderful Parco della Montagnola and the central station, well-connected to the historic center of Bologna.
The apartment, located on the second floor easily reachable with the elevator, opens onto the spacious living room fitted with a comfortable sofa, a dresser, a retractable table and an open plan kitchen equipped with the cooking utensils, including oven and microwave. A curtain separates the living area from the sleeping one, which is provided with a queen-size bed, a large wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Only 4-minute walking distance from the apartment there is the central train station, while the airport is 15 minutes away by car.

The location in Bologna is great for being able to walk to most restaurants and areas. I felt that the place was overall clean, but the shower needs some work as the doors are falling apart. The communication was clear between us and the booking staff and they were able to accommodate an early check-in (super helpful).
