Clean, stylish, quiet, comfortable, everything you could possibly need. I couldn’t find fault with any aspect of our stay, except we wish we could have stayed there longer. Honley itself has pretty much everything you could possibly need, a good quality butcher, baker (a delightful place), an excellent cafe, all within a very short distance from the cottage.
I can’t really think of anything I found fault with.

Clear communication from owners. No central heating but electric radiators provided which kept the chill off. Great location in village with a co-op just couple minutes walk away and also great eateries in village.
Lovely decor and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in.
a downstairs loo would have been great but...

The cottage is so homey and cozy, with the cutest interior decor—and it’s spotless! Really made the stay extra comfortable.
There was a brief power outage—just about 20–30 minutes—due to road works down the street. It happened around midnight, and Andrew kindly answered my call right away, which I really appreciated. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded at all if it weren’t for my baby, who’s sensitive to warm temperatures. Everything else was perfect, and the stay was wonderful overall!
