River View Apartment

Great location and facilities. Perfect for what we needed.

Property was lovely. Large, spacious, comfy beds and sofa bed.

Given the property sleeps up to 8 people, there wasn’t enough dining seats or space, and there wasn’t enough plates/glasses/cutlery etc to accommodate 8 guests.

Good location for us, ground floor apartment, photos depicted property accurately. The accommodation was clean and spacious. We were able to park on road very close to the property. Communication prior to stay was very good.

The kitchen was lacking basic amenties - there were only three forks, five dinner plates, five wine glasses, three glass tumblers for a property that sleeps up to six adults. There was only one oven proof tray (nothing else to go in the oven). No chopping board or bread knife. The cooker hood, filters, oven & roof of microwave all needed cleaning - very greasy. The mattresses were very soft and saggy. Floor lamp in sitting room not working. Only one bin in entire flat (nothing in bathroom). Nowhere to hang coats or dressing gowns. The dressing table stools were all worryingly wobbly - quite a bit of the bedroom furniture needs looking at (wardrobe backs bowed and detached). Tap in bathroom needs realigning and nut tightening. TV has very poor screen display - lines across picture. Some of the blinds were broken. Only one drying up cloth/towel for five days and nothing to wipe surfaces. This flat is just in need of a little TLC.

Beds were comfortable -use of washing machine etc.

Dishonest host - charged for a stain on sheet on a date BEFORE our arrival.
