About this house rental

Enjoy your stay just minutes from downtown Indianapolis in the Bates-Hendricks neighborhood. The 3rd level roof deck offers a great view of the city. The home is freshly renovated with luxury finishes, including a large open-concept area which has a kitchen, dining room, and living room with a vaulted ceiling. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with all appliances. In addition to the dining table which seats 6, the massive kitchen island also seats 6.

If something comes up, I'm available. Otherwise, you'll have the place to yourself to enjoy.

The home is close to downtown, the convention center, Eli Lily, Lucas Oil Stadium and The Fieldhouse.

It’s located in Bates-Hendricks neighborhood and is within walking distance to Fletcher Place, Fountain Square, Garfield Park, and the Old Southside.

You have access to the entire second floor and the third floor deck. There may be a lock on a closet, if so, it's just to store supplies for the cleaning crew. Other than that, the entire upper townhome is yours.

There is a lower level unit which is also available for rent. So, there may be guests below. The 2 units are completely separate and there are no shared areas.

PARKING

You may park 2 vehicles behind the house and enter through the back of the house. There is a gravel parking pad behind the house for 4 spots. Please arrange your vehicles so the guests staying in the other unit may also park 2 vehicles behind the house. Use the alley behind (south of) Morris street to get to the parking spot and entrance. You will recognize the house because the back is 3 stories tall and painted black. The sides of the house are painted with sunrise colors - so, you can't miss it.
ACCESSING THE SPACE
You will need to be able to climb a flight of stairs. This is a second-level townhome. You will enter into the unit on the ground level, at the back side of the home. When you park, you will be facing the back of the house. There are 2 doors. The door to the left, the black door, opens to an inside staircase that leads to the upstairs unit. The entire upstairs is yours during your stay. There is a third level which has a roof deck you can use as well.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has a large island and appliances include a dishwasher, garbage disposal, gas oven range, microwave vent hood, and a French door refrigerator. Coffee maker, tea kettle, coffee and tea supplies, a handheld blender, and a toaster are on-site.
LIVING ROOM
The living room is in a large open-concept area with a vaulted ceiling. The sofa has a pull out queen size foam mattress. There is also a queen sized air mattress you may use. There is a 65" wall-mounted smart television. Use your logins to your apps to watch your favorite shows.
DINING ROOM
The dining room is centrally located. The dining table has 6 chairs. There is a leaf you can add, which is on-site, to increase the table to allow for seating for 8.
BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS
The sunrise house has 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and 3 full bathrooms. The bathrooms all include floating vanities, tub/shower with custom tile, and a hand-held shower.
LAUNDRY
There is a top load washer and dryer in the hallway with detergent available for you. You might find sheets or towels in the dryer. The cleaning crew sometimes has to leave before the last dryer cycle ends due to the amount of time it takes to wash and dry all of the linens. If this happens, please just set them aside in the basket.

The neighborhood is located just south of downtown. It's near the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and the Rapid Transit Line. There are scooters available. You could explore the city without needing a car. However, you can easily get to all parts of the city with a quick drive or Uber trip. There is free street parking in the neighborhood and there is parking space behind the house too.

The home itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable! We had a great stay! Communication with the owner was great, she was very quick to respond. However, the only downfall (and it’s at no fault to the home) is the neighbor. The road noise and people walking around and riding little motorcycles/pitbikes all night was a little nerve racking. I’m not from the city so I’m not used to that. So if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs.

Beautiful home with a well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances. This unit even has a rooftop deck that would be perfect for watching the 4th of July fireworks! The owner was extremely responsive, answering our questions almost before we could ask them. We had family in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect spot. We all agree we would definitely book this home again.

The property was very clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, of course always important, kitchen was well stocked, and the water cooler was a bonus. You are not far from just about everything Indy has to offer, and if you have 3+ cars, talk to Daniels Auto to get approval to park on their property. Kris is an excellent, very responsive host. I highly recommend this property.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this property (last time was on the lower level) and both times I left wishing I could live here! These are beautifully designed and very well maintained! One of our all time favorite vacation rentals and we all agree we love staying here whenever we get the opportunity! Thanks Kris!
