Close to the marina and supermarket, the bed was comfy, extras included tin foil, an extra bin bag, loo roll, soap etc. Felt secure with locks, bedrooms nice and dark when curtains closed, loads of clothing storage! Plenty of towels provided. Shower is brilliant, lots of power and was nice and clean. Great beach just outside the property gate - sandy, clean, lovely bakery in the mini streets opposite the front of the property and lovely ice cream places too. The tapas place on the beach front was very good :) Close to Aigues Mortes which is a must visit, the pink salt flats and lots of flamingos locally when driving around.
Parking was a nightmare! I would not book this apartment if you need parking, unless you are a VERY competent at parking/left hand driving/your hire car size. The underground space is very tight with concrete pillars opposite which don’t give much room to line yourself up at all because the walls of your parking space taper and are not straight. It’s an odd shaped parking space too, incredibly tight and nearly impossible to park when someone is parked in the space opposite as there isn’t enough room to get the angle you need. I am very confident at parking and this was the most irritating part of my stay. We hired a Renault Austral which isn’t the smallest of cars, so a tiny car would be a bit easier, but no matter how I parked, the door still hit the wall and I had to squeeze out of the driver side to exit once parked. You MUST watch the video of where the parking is, how to open the gates and where the apartment is. I missed this in my emails before arriving and had a nightmare trying to work out where to go. The first gate goes into Hotel Calypso so feels like it can’t be the correct gate. Very confusing - watch the video first!!
The sofabed was pretty uncomfortable when using as a sofa (didn’t use as a bed so can’t comment on that), as a sofa it was pretty hard and not overly comfy. We had an issue with ants constantly coming in, especially in the lounge and second bedroom. There were patches of black mould on the ceiling in the main bedroom and lounge! Patio areas were quite dull, some decoration or nicer, comfy furniture would be a bonus. I told them about ants and mould but it took a couple of days for someone to come round. The man who came was very nice but would have been better to have someone come the same day! Cutlery could do with an upgrade - old fashioned plastic handles and looks like it’s been there since the 80s. Bin bags very thin - both broke when carrying to the main bins and we didn’t over fill them.

Garage petit ( max voiture moyenne pour lequel je n’ai pas été prévenue ) éloigné de la villa (150m à faire / parents âgés ) . Système de récupération de clefs compliqué ( surtout pour le départ ) télécommande television en panne ; ménage cuisine approximatif.

L’appartement est moderne et spacieux et l’environnement calme. La plage toute proche et une terrasse ombragée bien agréable.

L’accès n’est pas évident c’est un vrai labyrinthe et on ne peut pas se quitter sans les clés vu toutes les portes d’accès. Les fenêtres donnent sur des murs
