This holiday home in Waimes has 7 bedrooms where 15 people can stay comfortably and enjoy a vacation near the forest with an infrared sauna and central heating. Enjoy relaxing walks and cross country skiing while admiring nature. Signal de Botrange is at 3 km and Robertville lake is at 4.5 km. You can also visit the castle of Reinhardstein at 5 km and the lake of Bütgenbach at 12 km. Other places to visit during the stay include the towns of Malmedy, Francorchamps, Stavelot, and Spa. Ski lovers can have fun at the ski resort of Ovifat. There are restaurants at 2 km and supermarket at 1 km for daily needs. While you watch TV in the sitting room, the fireplace will keep you warm. Central heating is provided for cozy ambiance. Kids can use the high chair and children's beds. The home allows 1 pet at 25/Stay. Evenings are fun here with a barbecue on the terrace. You can also park your vehicles safely. Guests can check-in between 4-6 PM and check-out between 910 AM.

Ein sehr schönes und sehr gut eingerichtetes Haus. Die offene Küche mit dem langen Tisch war für unsere Gruppe einfach ideal. Wer sich zurückziehen wollte, fand in der gemütlichen Sitzecke mit Kamin und Fernseher einen angenehmen Platz. Schön war, dass der Verwalter am ersten Tag einmal vorbei kam und nachfragte, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Eine tolle Umgebung zum Wandern.

Een goed verblijf gehad. Geen persoonlijk contact met de eigenaar wegens verlof, maar via bericht vlot gecommuniceerd. Een bevriende dame kwam even bij ons langs om te checken indien alles OK was. Ruim en proper huis. De slaapkamers beneden waren bijzonder fris, wat ideaal was tijdens de hittegolf. Keuken was goed uitgerust, wel jammer dat met dit hete weer de koelkasten niet reeds in werking waren gezet. Het duurde lang vooraleer onze drank op frisse temperatuur was. Pluspunt is zeker de wasmachine en droogkast, het terras aan de keuken op de eerste verdieping. Een kleine lounge in de tuin zou een extra troef zijn, want nu moesten we heen en weer lopen met de lounge zetels om comfortabel in de tuin te kunnen zitten. Aan de grote tafel onder parasol in de tuin kun je gezellige avonden beleven. Als we een opmerking zouden geven, dan is het betreffende de tuin: die is achteraan volledig omheind, maar niet voldoende afgesloten, een (speelse) hond kan niet veilig vrij rondlopen. We kregen ook een fruitmand geleverd, een frisse traktatie en 100% geapprecieerd! Als je daar logeert zit je vlakbij Peek Bear en Signal de Botrange. Op een 20 min van Malmédy waar verschillende supermarkten zijn (Colruyt, Carrefour, Aldi/Renmans). Op een 5-tal min rijden een zeer lekkere Bakkerij Philippe Hennes en er zijn er nog iets verder. Wij zouden zeker nog eens willen terugkomen!

Mooie locatie, rustig gelegen en toch niet te ver van de winkel. Ideale uitvalbasis voor wandelingen. Het huis is voorzien voor kinderen, maar dan eerder iets grotere kinderen. Voor peuters en kleuters is het iets minder geschikt. De keuken was goed uitgerust en alles was zeer goed en prima verzorgd. De fruitmand bij ontvangst was een leuk geschenk. De vele vliegen die door de open ramen binnenkwamen hebben we er ook maar bijgenomen.

Ondanks dat we geen rechtstreeks contact hadden met de eigenaar, voelden we wel hoe belangrijk deze het vond dat zijn gasten een heerlijk verblijf hadden. Een al voorverwarmde woonkamer, een grote mand fruit, alles netjes! Zalig om zo aan te komen. We waren met 8 volwassenen en 5 kinderen. Voldoende kamers, voldoende badkamers. In de buurt heerlijk kunnen wandelen. Er was maar 1 ding jammer: het weekend was veel te kort! Volgend jaar komen we met de hele bende terug.
