The location is great close to Maehad pier, poor bed, poor facilities, poor of care of cleaning.
Staff are nice and friendly but strict to its rule, it is great but some small things, small points should be flexible.

Cheap and cheerful hostel in Ko Tao. Location is decent right next to the pier. Room relatively clean, but floor in the room could’ve done with a clean more regularly- especially as we were told to take shoes off. Facilities were adequate, but the beds could’ve done with more privacy and curtains.

Apparently, hotels and hostels can define their star rating arbitrarily, there is no other way to explain how this hostel could be 3 stars. It misses almost everything you would expect from a 3 star accomodation, like e.g. a fridge, a kettle, glasses and cups, a chair, a desk, ... In addition, the TV is mounted in a 90 degree angle to the bed and therefore useless, there is no balcony, and the view is awful. Cleaning is only before 11am. Not recommendable.
