The appartment is absolutely beautiful with a lovely traditional decor and all the modern comforts. The view is incomparable and makes you feel perfectly relaxed. I didn’t feel that there was a humidity issue thanks to the air dehydrator.

Before describing Nisos Villa, it is helpful to first describe the village of Olympos. It is a small village that only in recent times had a direct road connecting it to Pigadia. One parks the car at the edge of the village from which one can easily access anywhere in the village with a 10 minute walk. Walking through the village includes cobblestones and steps. I mention all this as I noticed at least one prior review complained about having to carry his/her suitcase through the town.
That having all been said, Nisos Villa is the perfect place to stay in Olympos. It is essentially at the end of the town, which makes it quieter and fewer daytime tourists walking by our villa. Katarina, the owner, has taken her grandmother’s house, and converted most of it into two villas. Our villa was charming. Our bed was accessed by a ladder up to a platform overlooking the main floor. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower had a stone wall on one side which added to its ambience. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a small porch in the entranceway with a table where we could sit and view the sea and the school (with 7 students) below us. We woke up to the sounds of goats bleating. Katarina does not live in Olympos, but stays in touch with you via email or telephone. If you are going to stay in Olympos, we highly recommend Nisos Villa.

Lovely small house with a wonderful with amazing sea view. Nice furniture in typical Greek Olympus Style. We stayed here one night to visit Olympus
The host has been so fast to solve a missing bed preparation since our reservation was for 3 persons.
Not easy to reach the house if you have a small car.
The only road that reaches the house is unpaved and very steep and with dangerous curves. I recommend parking at the main entrance of Olympos and walking to reach the house.
Light luggage or Backpack suggested.

The location is tricky to find, so signs would be useful. If you park at the entrance of the village, be prepared to carry your luggage for 10’+ up and down steep hills and steps.
