The property was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed.
The shower was weak and the bathroom taps were separate for hot and cold so we couldn’t get a warm temperature. It would be good to have another kitchen stool as only person could sit in the kitchen at a time.

This is a charming second-floor flat accessed via stairs, so guests with mobility or accessibility needs may wish to take this into consideration. Upon entry, you are welcomed into a spacious, self-contained flat that feels warm, comfortable and well thought out. Please note there is a threshold step immediately after entering the flat once the door is closed, as a main door has been removed. This threshold step is not immediately obvious, so care is needed when entering, particularly for guests with mobility or visibility considerations. (I did unfortunately trip as it was unexpected.) The property offers one large bedroom exactly as shown in the photos, along with a second large bedroom where the living area is incorporated rather than being a separate room. There is a small dining room and a well-equipped kitchen that genuinely has everything you need. Thoughtful touches such as tea bags, sugar, salt, pepper, oil and a selection of spices were provided, which was a very welcome and thoughtful extra. The bathroom features a shower over the bath, again something to note for those with mobility considerations. Toiletries, toilet paper and lovely towels are supplied, with additional towels also provided, along with shampoo and body wash. One important thing to mention is that the hot water can become very hot, and as there is no mixer tap it does require care. The beds are extremely comfortable and clearly fitted with proper, supportive mattresses—not the cheap, flimsy kind—ensuring a great night’s sleep. Extra pillows were also provided, which was much appreciated. The flat itself is warm and cosy, with storage heaters, reliable hot water and an excellent shower. Laminate flooring runs throughout, except in the larger bedroom. The surrounding area is excellent, with ample parking and plenty of nearby shops and convenience stores, making it very easy to buy food and essentials.
