The Barnhouse quickly became one of our favorite stays. Its country outlook, with the sheep, cooks, and doggo's, made us feel comfortable and cozy. Had everything that you need. Close enough to tow that it wasn't a mission to pop in the car and get dinner. Loved it
It didn't have an oven, but it wasn't life or death. The hotplates, microwave, and toaster got a great workout😊

We absolutely loved everything! Would've stayed extra night if possible. Fantastic communication with Owner despite us not meeting. Loved the fact we were just left to relax and enjoy. Came from Auckland, loved the stress free environment, so good for the soul! Air Con was on when we arrived, appreciated that so much! Bella the dog, oh how we loved having Bella visit, we love and miss her. The chickens in the morning, so wonderful to see and they enjoyed my fried bread. The fruit trees guava and banana, wow, you don't see those everyday! Doesn't matter there's no stove cos benchtop cooker did job and BBQ outside. Thank you for the cooking oil, was the only thing we didn't have. The house was absolutely beautiful, beyond our expectations. The shower pressure despite being on tank supply was amazing and size of shower was so awesome. Love love loved everything! Thank you so much! A stay we will never ever forget! Not too far from Kerikeri.

Nice quiet rural location
The whole bathroom Lino needed to be replaced it was grimy and looked like you would get athletes foot just standing on it .
