It was wonderful because last year we had particularly beautiful weather, unfortunately the weather was not good, very strong wind and a lot of rain this stay.

We were not lucky with good weather in our only vacation, the weather was rainy and the wind felt very strong, at night there was a very strong wind noise and roar. Disappointed that we were not able to live the experience of last year, which was particularly beautiful

The location, easy walk to beach and other amenities on site. Staff were amazing

To be honest, the property was dated. The utensils were less than what was needed for self catering, even the pans, including frying.. were years old and cooking was a challenge without everything sticking. And not even a wooden spoon available, indeed the other serving / cooking utensils had seen better days. The property itself was sufficient, but only sufficient. We returned on the first day with infestation of ants. Something the staff on site dealt with for us.. and aware that living amongst dune, and weather can obviously have an issue with ants but what we came back to was a ‘lot’ ! Once treated, it was only an occasional one but perhaps a treatment prior to arrival would have alleviated the issue better

THe location is amazing with Beach access directly from free car parks which are literally at the end of the dunes. Aldi, M&S and Asda are alll close by. You could even walk ito Hayle (althuoght that would be 15 minutes to the edge of town and 30 minutes to the centre). The beach side bar is great with outdoor pace and a play area for kids. For football fans there is the biggest screen (not projector) that I've ever seen !!

The pool was shut. This was hidden deep in the booking information and I hadn't see that. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Just in the bar. So if your are a remote worker you'll need to go the Hayle library (Mon, Wed and Fri) or Penzance library (Tue, Thur) for free Wi-Fi access. The bar does have Wi-Fi but it's only open 14:00 to 22:00. There are no towels in the rooms. They aren't provided so don't forget to pack your own. Live TV option only so no Netfilx or other subscription services (iplayer too)
