Het was fijn om hier te verblijven. Karakteristiek huis met kamers aan lange gang die van voor naar achter loopt. Slaapkamers, eetkamer, speelkamer, zitkamer, badkamer, keuken. Je verblijft veel in de keuken, aan de achterzijde van het huis, vanwaar je een schitterend uitzicht op de Appenijnen hebt, de hele dag mooi onder veranderend licht. Volledige privacy. Stevig bed, voor mij goed. Voorzieningen wat ouder dan in hotels of stedelijke appartementen, maar alles functioneerde prima en was goed schoon. Inrichting met liefde en persoonlijk. Handdoekenset met een strik eromheen. Ontvangst was prettig en voorkomend. Uitmuntende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Ligging wat afgelegen, uur rijden over bochtige wegen naar Lucca, evenzo als je van snelweg La Spezia-Parma komt, maar je komt door een prachtige omgeving waar het fijn wandelen is (bijv. waterval bij het dorp Pruno op een uur rijden, of het stadje Barga).
Huis ligt aan vrij drukke straat.
