Everything you needed, clean cosy and comfortable
Nothing. I wish I had brought a couple of camping chairs to sit on the porch though.

Uns hat einfach alles sehr, sehr gut gefallen! Die Ruhe, die Natur, die Landschaft, die Einsamkeit, das Gefühl fast auf dem Mond zu sein, der nahegelegene Superstrand Sanna Beach, der Leuchtturm von Ardnamuchan.
Die Ausstattung der Volcano Cabins war sehr gut und klug durchdacht. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten.
Wir möchten unbedingt noch einmal hin, und dann gerne für eine ganze Woche.
Wir empfehlen ein Fernglas mitzunehmen, um die Vögel und Hirsche beobachten zu können! Außerdem sollte man vorher gut mit Lebensmitteln versorgen. Der nächste Laden ist weit...
Die Fahrt nach Kilchoan und weiter nach Acharacle war abenteuerlich, da die Straße sehr schmal und kurvig ist und man sich erst einmal an die Fahr- und Ausweichregelung gewöhnen muss. Schwierig, wenn man schnell autokrank wird.
Ist man erstmal am erlöschenden Vulkan und den Cabins angekommen, wird man sofort für die Anstrengung belohnt.
