In the heart of the village, a 40m² detached, single-story cottage located in the Avesnois Regional Natural Park.
Entrance into the living area with an open-plan kitchen/lounge, furnished with a single sofa bed and an 80cm flat-screen TV. Amenities include: dishwasher, microwave, four-burner induction hob, oven, pod coffee maker, filter coffee maker, washing machine, and refrigerator with freezer compartment.
Bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm) and dressing area. Cot and highchair available on request. No Wi-Fi, but good mobile network coverage.
Bathroom with a corner shower, washing machine, and separate WC.
Enclosed 150m² garden with a 20m² private terrace, garden furniture, and both an electric and a charcoal barbecue. The cottage is fully inclusive (utilities, bed linen, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning).
Free street parking. On the edge of the Mormal Forest, in a village within the Avesnois Regional Natural Park, characterized by wooded and hedged landscapes crisscrossed by footpaths, and close to Belgium. Covering 9,163 hectares, the Mormal Forest is the largest forest in the Nord department. The property is located 50 meters from a junction of the Avesnois network of numbered junctions, and all shops are 2.5 kilometers away. You can also enjoy numerous hiking opportunities on-site thanks to the GR 122 long-distance footpath and a fishing pond.
Maroilles and its famous cheese are 11 km away, and the fortified town of Le Quesnoy and the New Zealand Liberation Museum – Te Arawhata – are 12 km away. Le Cateau-Cambrésis (Matisse Museum - Departmental Museum of Le Cateau-Cambrésis) 13 km, Bavay and its ancient forum 20 km, Valenciennes 28 km, Maubeuge 33 km, Cambrai 35 km.
