Spartanisch eingerichtet, aber funktional und absolut sauber. Die Lage war für mich sehr praktisch und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war gut. Check in wurde über das WhatsApp geregelt, die Kommunikation war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber vollkommen in Ordnung, alle wichtigen Informationen bekam ich rechtzeitig.
Kein Nachttisch, Schreibtischlampe funktionierte nicht, Netflix auch nicht. Verdunklungsrollo ging nur über das halbe Fenster - das bringt nichts und bietet auch kaum Sichtschutz. Man hört jedes Geräusch im Haus extrem laut. Der Wasserkocher in der Küche muss dringend ausgetauscht werden.

Big room, big comfortable bed. Quiet hostel and quiet neighborhood. Clean kitchen to use. Nice shower-bathroom.
Location is quiet and close to a tram. Not walkable to city center or attractions such as the Grimmwelt or the wilhelmshöhe park.
Mostly: spiders. I saw a big (but thin) spider in the dining area. But then I saw another different one in the room (!). When I arrived the door to the balcony was open, for air I assume. And the owner/manager asked to keep a window open after showering. This kind of policy is understandable but a net is highly reccomended.
Also the curtain couldn't completely cover the window and anyway didn't hide the light in the morning, just like, blurred it.

Big room for the three of us; good and nice communication from staff/owner; shared kitchen has everything you need; good value for money and close to the centre of Kassel and the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe which we came to visit.
Good cleanliness.
Other visitors smoked in the garden with the dining room open; the smoke made it unpleasant to have breakfast there at the same time; we felt there shouldn’t be any smoking, especially with children around; but seems to be acceptable in Germany when outside as we noticed in cafes and restaurants
