A great place to stop after late afternoon flight from Dublin and heading to Belfast. Great location to lots of restaurants and pubs. Friendly staff. Good breakfast

The breakfast was excellent. Good choice and good value. The waitress Rebecca was very friendly and efficient.

I was home for an event in the hotel so being able to simply go upstairs was great. The Eden room was lovely.

We opted for breakfast upon check-in and had it the first morning we were there. We were surprised that for the price of the room (expensive by any standard) did not include breakfast but we paid €30 for the 2 of us. We asked for coffee and were presented with disgusting instant coffee, another rip off when we’d paid €15 each. The avocado on toast was bland. We had to go to one of the local coffee shops to get better coffees and food (another cost to us). We live in London so are used to high prices but what we were charged for a 2 night stay in Drogheda was a surprise. I do understand the economics of supply and demand and that the price is likely driven by supply in the town, but it simply didn’t feel value for money given the smallness of the room, lack of lift, poor quality of breakfast and coffee.
