Located just minutes from South Chesterman Beach and a short drive to Cox Bay, this inviting home is the perfect retreat for both surfing adventures and peaceful relaxation. Originally designed for a retired family embracing island life, the home exudes warmth and comfort, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
The main floor features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, seamlessly blending space for cooking, dining, and gathering. The living room includes a wood-burning fireplace, creating a cozy haven during storm season or on a typical rainy day in Tofino. There's also a cozy library stocked with books as well as music music options—a perfect spot to unwind. Step out onto the deck, where you’ll find an outdoor BBQ ideal for al fresco cooking and entertaining amidst the island’s natural beauty.
One of the standout features of this property is its spacious, well-equipped kitchen and generous open layout, perfect for entertaining. Upstairs, you’ll find all three bedrooms, each designed with comfort in mind. The master bedroom boasts an ensuite bathroom with a luxurious soaker tub, offering a private sanctuary. The two additional bedrooms share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
The second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third is a kid-friendly haven, furnished with two single beds, a play table, a rocking horse, and a TV with Apple access. With a peek-a-boo view of the inlet and ample space for children to play, this home is a true gem for families and friends seeking a memorable island getaway.

Host Rules:
Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.
Age restrictions: must be 23 years or older to book
Guest Limit: As per Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of 6 guests (including babies and children) are allowed. If a reservation exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to ask the guests to leave.
During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.
3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays.
Pet Policy: up to two dogs allowed, must be owner approved.
Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws.
Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!
Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund. If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.
Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.

The host was very accommodating for our 2-day strategic planning session, the kind note and snacks left for our check-in was a great unexpected touch. The space provided the right atmosphere for thoughtful discussions and offered a cozy place to relax when the day wrapped up. Initially, I thought the parking might be an issue, but there was enough space to fit all of the vehicles. My one note of feedback would be to have a few extra pieces of seasoned/dry firewood to help the woodstove get going. All in all a great experience and venue, everyone was impressed by the amenities.

Unfortunately this home is far too pricey for what you get, or I should say, don’t get. The living room furniture is old and seems to be outdoor patio furniture. It isn’t comfy at all and was covered in dog hair along with the carpets and everything else (I’m allergic and so I was sneezing and congested during our stay). The floors just didn’t seem to have been cleaned.
The bathrooms are only half reno’d and very cheaply done, one of the handles fell off in the shower.
There was some seating provided for the patio in the back but no blankets or cushions to bring out with us in the evenings or mornings.
No welcome basket or book (there is a digital one but what if you don’t have reception or you’re visiting the country).
We had issues with the wifi and the very small and old tv, when we did want to watch something in the evening we couldn’t get a hold of the owners for passwords (none of this was Rogers related as they use Telus). The property management company that came and helped was very communicative and kind so that was great, but overall we paid way too much for what we got.
