We stayed in Sirmione as part of our honeymoon. Unfortunately, the 'Deluxe King' apartment we booked was 'accidentally' given to another couple who arrived before us and the vendor allowed them to keep the apartment for the entire stay. The 'Deluxe Queen' apartment we were given instead was not really up to spec and certainly isn't 'Deluxe'. The room was dark and the aircon unit only cooled and did not heat. The vendors answer is to use the underfloor heating which must have taken 2 hours to have any affect. The Jacuzzi bath took ages to fill and then emitted green slime once started. I'd say it's not fit for purpose. The vendor gave us a partial refund for giving our room away, calling this compensation. They were offering other apartments of a similar size and spec for €15-20 less than what we ended up paying for this one, so not sure how that could be called compensation. The picture you see of the nice patio is part of a completely different property so not sure why they are allowed to include it.
