I loved how beautiful on the inside & out, modern, clean, fresh, adorably-decorated, welcoming, roomy, spacious yet cozy, private, well-maintained, accessible, attention-to-detail, new, well-lit, secure, safe, luxurious, warm, inviting, well-stocked, organized, well-labeled, & creatively-designed your cabin was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The hot tub, fireplace, outdoor fire pit, & fairy lights were our favorite things!!!!!!! The carpet was so plush and looked brand new. I absolutely loved all the decor and little touches and attention to details with all the decor it was.
Some of my favorite decorations, design elements, & pieces were the green bookshelf with hand painted deer, the carved wood architecture above all the door & window frames, the Smokey Bear stuff, the dining table shaved logs table runner, all the birds above the cabinets with the soft lighting, the paper moon & stars cut-outs over beds, the granite countertops, the giant fireplace mantle, the nook in loft bedroom, the giant living room & dining windows, the high ceilings, the mix of modern & classic cabin (modern conveniences with a classic look), the little amenities like the shampoos, hair dryer, & abundance of towels, and the cool old-fashioned radio.
I appreciated the detailed instructions placed all around, the instruction notebook, & little facts about the history of the area.
We felt very safe and private with all the outdoor lights and curtains.
There were only a few things I could think of that I would add or take away. The floors were quite slippery if you were wearing socks and it was cold so we needed to wear socks, and I fell while getting something from the fridge. I don’t know how you could make the floors less slippery, but I’m in good shape and only 44, but I wouldn’t think them to be safe at all for older people to walk around safely. Maybe at least suggest people bring gripper socks or gripper slippers to wear. Also, it would be nice if there was fresh dry firewood provided, instead of having to go into town to buy our own. We didn’t know that ahead of time, so when we were ready to do Smores we couldn’t because we had to take time to go buy firewood. Lastly, the DVD player was very difficult to work & understand. We rented a movie to watch and it took my husband, who is very skilled with technology & is a software designer, over 45 mins to get the movie going smoothly. We were so worried we wouldn’t get to watch our movie, but he finally got it working.
