It was a cozy place to stay for the week.

Parking was a little difficult

Pillar in the middle of living room. It made it hard to watch TV. We suggest to change layout of sofa.

Location, Size, Cleanliness and have everything we need!

Wonderful, oddly layed out little place. Ten minutes from our home. Beach Access w kayaks and canoe. Small dingy tied up on beach. Allowed for us to use was unknown. Kitchen was well equipped can opener, ice cream scoop, strainer, plates bowls and silverware. Microwave Pop corn was nice but had our own. Nice large pot for spaghetti. Loved the removable spray nozzle on the kitchen faucet. Three doors for entry/exit. I always love having beach access! Small beach w great agates. The beach was the best part for me. Kinda eased my stress in my struggle to relax. Fire pit w wood supplied near the unsafe steps to the beach. Was not aware we could have a fire outside prior to arrival. Very private. Warm inside upon arrival. Small bundle of very dry wood for (1) indoor fire.

The upstairs loft went unused. Would have to be for smaller child. The railings were stable going up but the railings at top were unsafe. The entry door is narrow and at the backside where we were supposed to enter via code. I failed to notice the designated parking area was in back on the driveway hill until I later read the welcome book. The first night I parked in front by the two doors which made it much more convenient to load and unload. Had to walk around back first to punch in code for entry. The designated parking area was in a gravel hill with a downhill pathway to the entry door. Get worn out with several trips to and from the car to the door.There is nobody really to communicate with good & bad. The owners must live down the road or near by. I noticed the same older gentleman walking near the mailboxes stopped for a bit. He was walking that road often.The exhaust fan above the stove was dirty w cobwebs hanging, motor was dying out. The stove heat coil would not stay level making it hard to use a pan and cook evenly. Kitchen lighting had one ballast of very bright florescent bulbs. Florescent lighting is not calming for me. No curtain for the kitchen window. All windows except the upstairs and bathroom had blinds. Living room lay out was awkward with a large wood beam blocking view of the large TV. The TV remote was confusing. Sofa style needs changed or rethink placement of TV. Cute, chidsize dining table was very short for adults. Wood burns up fast in the wood stove. Don't expect to depend on a fire to keep home warm. Must use baseboard heaters. No TV in bedroom. Bedroom door is directly across from stackable washer/dryer. Washer is loud. The whole washer/dryer set up needs replaced. This was the biggest issue I had here. I mainly rented this cottage for use of water. Shower and laundry. Our home pipes burst during the recent freeze and we looked forward to a relaxing bath.
