This sunny and cozy 2 bedroom home is located in the quiet neighborhood of Marin View surrounded by natural beauty with views of Richardson bay. While being only 10 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge it is a short drive to SF, Muir beach, Stinson Beach, Muir Woods, and Mt Tamalpais. Minutes away is Tennessee Valley Road which provides access to multiple trailheads into Golden Gate National Recreation Area where you can hike or bike to the Marin Headlands, Tennessee, Rodeo or Muir Beach.
The space
Our home is half of a duplex perched on the hillside with two bedrooms upstairs and an open living area downstairs. The spacious main bedroom offers a king bed and a sunny sitting area, while the smaller bedroom has a queen bed. There is also an additional space with a convertible couch that can serve as a third bed. Downstairs, the sunny living area offers a gas fireplace, a modern kitchen, a dining area, and a new sectional sofa. The bathroom is upstairs with a separate interior door so it can used as a full or half bath, and the washer and dryer are in the unit in a separate area.
Guest access
There is abundant street parking outside the unit. In addition, stores and restaurants in Mill Valley are a 5-10 minute drive away.

The communication from the owner was fantastic, from booking through the stay. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood at the very top of the hill. Street parking and very steep.
At check in, there was hair on the pillows in the master bedroom and on both bed sheets. The carpets and futon couch were visibly dirty and needed swept. The toaster oven had crumbs on the cookie sheet as well. I messaged the owner and he just said the sheets are clean. The kitchen hardly had anything, including no coffee mugs or a frying pan (we were going to make dinner).
My daughter slept on the futon couch and there were extra sheets, but only a thin blanket for her to use and no shades over the sliding door. The queen bed in the second bedroom was comfortable but it squeaked so loud, it woke the whole house up whenever you moved. The beds were very comfortable.
As non-pet people, there was a distinct pet smell through the whole house. There was also a mouse running around the counters and oven on our last night.
