A beautiful escape to the country, Whitney is a gorgeous, cottage-style bungalow with it’s own private hot tub!. 2 steps to entrance.

Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, summerhouse and garden furniture. Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Welcome to Whitney Cottage, a fabulous holiday home set in the wonderful Somerset village of Horton. Enter through the gate into your garden, which wraps around the house providing multiple seating areas, your own summerhouse with seating as well as your private hot tub, tucked neatly away giving you the utmost privacy while allowing you to enjoy your surroundings. Step inside where everything is on the ground floor, catering to all ages and abilities. The warm and bright living room has lovely comfortable sofas and a gas fire, perfect for those cooler evenings, however in the summer throw open the French doors and let the warm breeze flow in. The kitchen is open-plan with the dining area, with the former being extremely well equipped, while the bright and welcoming dining area is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal at any time of the day! Off the hallway, you will find the bedrooms, both finished to a high standard with cream and oak furniture, as well as a TV in each. The large shower room has a fantastic walk-in shower with both a large rainfall shower head and a handheld head for ease. Underfloor heating features throughout, making Whitney Cottage the perfect choice for your next break at any time of the year! A dog is welcome to come and stay ,but please take note that under no circumstances that dogs must not be left unattended at any time in the cottage.
Just a 10-minute walk away you have the local bar and restaurant, which serves a range of local food and drink, or hop in the car to another pub, just a 5-minute drive, which serves gorgeous wood-fired pizzas and an amazing Sunday lunch. A 7-minute drive is another pub which serves a wonderful mix of traditional English and Caribbean foods. You will be spoilt for choice with things to do while staying at Whitney Cottage, with miles of walks from your doorstep exploring Somerset’s countryside. Venture further afield to one of the many National Trust properties nearby such as Montacute House and Barrington Court. The Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis can be reached in around 30 minutes’, walk along the promenade, grab an ice cream and sunbathe, or head to Charmouth for some fossil hunting in the famous Jurassic Cliffs!

Lovely comfortable cottage in a stunning location, 2 nice local pubs walkable from the cottage, Lyme and Sidmouth coast about 35min drive, will definitely be returning.

Wonderful place to stay. Very well equipped & homely. I would like to go back again. I visited Lyme Regis & Glastonbury when I was there, both within 20 miles away. Hot tub lush.
