Borgo Migliorini is nothing short of a magical place. An hidden gem tucked away in the beatiful Abetone mountain, it provided a marvellous frame for our wedding which we hosted here in mid-June. Blessed by fabulous weather, our guests raved about their stay in this cabin and were just mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The cabins are built with ex-novo materials salvaged by the hamlet's owner, who descends from a long line of illustrious artists and put his very soul in the restoration of this hamlet by scattering pieces made by his ancestors over the centuries. If you are not too fussy about things being polished, are a nature lover and rustic is your style, look no further. Great value for money.

De toegang tot Migliorini was wat moeilijk te vinden. Het dorpje zit in de bosrijke heuvels. Bij aankomst konden we niet meteen naar het huisje rijden door de smalle hobbelige steile weggetjes naar boven. De eigenaar was er al en heeft ons rondgeleid in het huisje en e.e.a. verteld over de omgeving.

accommodatie was fantastisch, alles was aanwezig en we zijn heel goed geholpen door de eigenaar. Het enigste dat we een minpunt vonden was dat de matrassen en hoofdkussen iets te oud en te hard waren... De omgeving was super prachtig.

Lekker koel onder de bomen in de bergen, terwijl het in de vallei 10° warmer was. Ook superhuisje, supergastheer (die heel veel nuttige info gaf bij aankomst over bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving). In het lager gelegen Piteglio ook elke avond bijna dikke ambiance met optredens. Alleen de bergtocht naar beneden met meer dan 100 pittige bochten maakte de kinderen af en toe wagenziek, ...
