A nice Provençal house with a large and clean pool with views! Even though the pool is shared with one other house located on the property, you still feel very private. Patrick, the property owner, lives on site in his house and is available to accommodate any requests. He would also give you plenty of tips of “local” places to visit, thank you so much for that. The house is approx 20 minute walk from the village of Entrecasteaux, a traditional Provençal village. The chateaux of Entrecasteaux is a must - the owner of the chateaux is your guide - it was the best tour of a chateaux ever! Plenty of things to see in reasonable vicinity, for example Parc national du Verdon. To sum it up, perfect holidays in a perfect place with a perfect property manager!

-Patrick is a charming host and the home is set on a south facing hillside.
-About 3k drive to Entrecasteaux or a 30 minute hike. We’ve been to the village many times and like the laid back village feel
-near to pretty towns such as lorgues, carces and Salerne. Near to Lac St Croix although this year it was pretty well dried up.
-Great location for families and cyclists.
-shared pool which is a good size
- great location in the countryside near a village
-great home for a young family
-home interior is basic, pillows etc in need of replacement
-appreciate that it’s very hard work to clean a holiday home and professional cleaning hard to come by in French villages, but the cleaning is just OK by UK rental standards
-**no Wi-Fi or internet. There is not a Wi-Fi router in the house so we could not do a wired connection either. Given that we had to work whilst away and kids wanted some contact with friends, this wasn’t great and we spend about €400 on mobile data.
In summary it’s a great home for a young family, great pool and location, basic facilities, no internet.
