The ground floor features an open kitchen and a spacious sitting area with a cozy sofa. Step outside to a sun-drenched terrace with a grill and panoramic views—plus a chance to spot the goats grazing nearby. The bathroom includes a floor-level shower, and upstairs you’ll find the inviting bedrooms.
Guests can purchase fresh eggs and honey from the neighboring farm, and children are welcome to help feed animals or enjoy a tractor ride. Whether you're lounging in the sun or exploring the Black Forest’s scenic trails, this farmside retreat blends tranquility with hands-on fun.

We hebben 2 heel leuke weken gehad in de woning van familie Gehring. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer schoon! Josef en Rita zijn vriendelijk en gastvrij. Josef doet echt moeite alles uit te leggen en nam man en kinderen nog een rondje mee op de trekker naar het bos. We hebben alle ochtenden heerlijk op het balkon kunnen ontbijten. Voor de broodjes moet je wel met de auto op pad. De kinderen sliepen in de grote slaapkamer, waar ze ook heerlijk hebben kunnen spelen. Helaas kloppen de foto's niet helemaal op de website. Volgens de foto's zijn er allerlei speeltoestellen, maar er is enkel een kleine zandbak en een rek met een glijbaan en schommel. Er staat los nog een wip. De overige toestellen staan in een speeltuin verderop in het dorp, waar je niet te voet even heengaat. Jammer, want we hadden gedacht dat dit (vlakbij) de woning was. Gelukkig mochten de kinderen wel gebruik maken van de tafeltennistafel die in de garage staat. Verder leuke uitstapjes gemaakt, o.a. aantal keer gezwommen in Seelbach (waar we met de gastenkarte steeds gratis naar binnen konden), Freiburg, Basel (met de trein), 2 dagen Europapark en de waterval in Triberg. Ook gewandeld vanaf het huisje en de MTB's waren mee.

Het is een mooie locatie welke makkelijke te vinden is. Het appartement is niet super luxe maar is van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook waren er de hele vakantie voldoende handdoeken, theedoeken en vaatdoekjes beschikbaar. De eigenaars waren vriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam, niets was teveel. Vanaf het appartement kun je mooie uitstapjes maken, daarbij was voor ons een auto wel noodzakelijk ivm kind van 2 jaar oud. Supermarkt ligt op ongeveer 6 kilometer. Het appartement ligt langs een rustige weg al komen sommige omwonende met een behoorlijke snelheid voorbij.

De aankomst is overweldigend, je komt in de bergen aan midden in alle rust. En je word ontvangen door een zeer gastvrij stel! Ze laten je alles zien en je krijgt ook nog wen welkoms likeur wat de man des huizes zelf maakt van producten in de buurt. Het zag er schoon en netjes uit. Je ondenkt geen stofje of vuiltje, ook de badkamer was zeer schoon. Je krijgt handoeken meer als je kan gebruiken en de keuken is klaar voor gebruik. Wij hebben het in combinatie gedaan met een dagje europa park wat ook zeker een aanrader is! S'avonds zie je helemaal niks buiten zo donker dat het is, het is een oase van rust. In het dorpje dichtbij kun je heerlijk eten voor niet teveel geld in een lokaal restaurantje en er is ook een supermarkt dichtbij met een ruim en vers assortiment. Er zit zelfs een echte slager in de supermarkt. Al met al gaan wij zeker nog een keer terug!
