Orchard Cottage is perfectly positioned, within the grounds of a quintessential Cotswold Country House near Tetbury, overlooking the orchards and beyond. A charming Cotswold cottage, decorated to a high standard, the bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom. The reception room has high beams and a round porthole window, stylish and comfortable. Badminton Horse Trials and Westonbirt Arboretum a stone's throw away. Bath nearby.

WE EXPECT THERE TO BE SOME DISTURBANCE AND NOISE FROM THE HORSES DURING THIS TIME. - If you like horses this is the dream stay for you!

My partner and I booked a weekend getaway from the city, and our cottage was perfect in every way we could have hoped for. The location was ideal, and the interiors were both beautiful and exceptionally comfortable, reflecting the high quality of the property. While we did encounter a couple of small issues, the customer service team was friendly, attentive, and resolved everything quickly. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and we look forward to booking with Stay Cotswold again!

Central to south Gloucester, withing easy traveling distance to all the places we wanted to visit. the cottage itself was set in the well manicured land adjacent to the owners quintessential Cotswolds house, tended by Charlie and Rob the friendly gardeners who took time to talk to us about the area. my wife even had a quick demonstration of the farrier who was changing the horseshoes of one on the horses that occupied the stables next door.

Booked very last minute and very glad we did.
Perfect little home away from home.
Lovely and clean, light and airy and very comfortable bed.
High quality furnishings throughout, although it would be good if the fold down table could be folded up! to give a bit more space.
Everything else you could need for a short break and we hope to be back.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this particular cottage . After reading some of the other reviews before booking they were quite mixed & I now understand why. The accommodation & decor is a bit tired looking & certainly not spotlessly clean . Also, the 'wide angle' photos give the impression of a much more spacious cottage & outdoor area but in reality that isn't the case. This is also described as a perfect accommodation for horse lovers which is one of the main reasons that we booked this particular cottage. On arrival there wasn't a horse in sight & we found out they were in a field across the main road so we couldn't even enjoy watching them grazing as we tried to relax in the little garden area. What we did get however was hundreds of crows in the trees directly above the accomodation. The noise was unbearable & being awoken at 4 in the morning with dozens of birds running across the roof was the deciding factor in us vacating two days early. I can appreciate that some of these aspects are totally out of the owners control & the service & communication from Stay Cotwsolds was very good but overall we were left disappointed.
