About this house rental
Expansive water & mountain views from this coveted sweet spot on beautiful Whidbey Island! Includes spacious primary en-suite, living room, kitchen & dining room, and all west-facing views. Downstairs includes a playroom with wet bar.
Escape to your outdoor living area and listen to the waterfall of the koi pond or the crackle of a fire in your river rock fireplace, as you swirl your wine glass and savor the sunset over the vineyard.
This listing does not include the outside guest house, which will have nobody living there.
Which place feels like it's a world away?
This house is over 4,100sf which lies on Whidbey Island's southwestern coast, close to the Useless Bay. In addition to serene pastoral views of the adjacent wetlands and farmlands, your neighbors are grazing deer, soaring eagles and wandering rabbits. With its quiet, serene location it's easy to find the beaches, golf court, parks and groceries, the towns of Clinton, Langley, and Freeland are just about 10 minutes away. There are groceries shops (The Goose Community Grocer) and restaurants within a two-minute drive. If you go a little further 5 minutes or so you can find more places to eat and shop, there are some wonderful restaurants close by that serve an array of different cuisines.
Guest access
1. Free 24-hour service for TESLA charging equipment.
2. You have use of the entire house with yard access (except the vineyard). The code to access the key or to enter the house as well as additional access instructions (including driving directions, WiFi information, check out instructions, etc.) will be found in your check in packet which is emailed or texted to you once you make the reservation.
3. Guests are welcome to play or just walk around the 5 acres around the property. No loud noise or music outside (including porch, deck and patio). Please be respectful of our neighbors.
4. If a family has a child under 12 years old, please pay attention to the fishpond next to the house. Please be careful not to approach the fishpond without the company of parents.
5. Children are welcome to play in the playground, with parents supervision required. We will not be responsible for any falls and injuries occurred on the property during your stay.
Other things to note
1. You must be 23 years or older to rent this property.
2. There is a Video Camera above the front door for security purposes.
3. If you invite other people (not guests living in the house) to a party during your stay, you need to apply to the host in advance to obtain permission and provide information such as the number of guests and the time and duration of the party, and the host may charge ( Probably not, depending on how many people you will invite) for an additional fee.
4. Pets allowed. Please let us know and ask in advance. You are responsible for providing bedding and towels for your pet.
5. Due to our septic system limitation, occupancy count includes adults, teens, children, toddlers and infants.
6. Absolutely no smoking/vaping is allowed anywhere on the property (inside or out).
7. We are extremely diligent with cleaning and disinfecting for our guests. Sprays, cleansers, wipes and disinfecting lotions are also provided. Being located in rural surroundings with wide open spaces makes social distancing easier to maintain.

Great location, close to a beach but affordable, non beach front price. Lovely surrounding yard. Room for several cars off street. Great space for a large family plus extra bed options. Spa was very nice. Great view and Mike is very attentive and kind.

Mike greeted us and showed us the simple ins and outs of the property. The house immediately exceeded our expectations. We have 6 kiddos. All quickly found a special space. Our dog and younger boys LOVED the fully fenced in huge back yard. The fire place porch was so warm and surrounded by an incredible and dynamic view. We love the home from top to bottom. Everything we needed from tons of towels to a variety of coffee choices along with little extras like books and puzzles were close and hand. We all enjoyed the indoor spa/pool/hot tub room that led out to the beautiful back yard covered porch perfect for the rainier days. A beach was with in walking distance. Our favorite Whidbey Island grocery store was less than 5 minutes away. And the many adventures we had touring the island made for a perfect Spring Break week. We help to return in the future. This was truly a home away from home.

This gorgeous house sits on a plot of land overlooking Useless Bay, it is so picturesque. The house was stocked with all of the home essentials (cookware, appliances, entertainment, games). There's also a grocery store just a couple minute drive away. The spa was huge and loved that it was indoors, so we could enjoy it out of the rain. The grounds are stunning, the relaxing coy pond with huge coy was a highlight to sit next to. The grass lawn was well maintained and our 2 dogs enjoyed running around so much. Each room was spacious, had comfortable beds/bedding, extra pillows/comforters, and all the toiletries you could need. Mike was a wonderful host and very communicative. We got to meet briefly on arrival. We definitely recommend staying at his beautiful home.

We had a multigenerational group and this house met and exceeded our expectations. The steam room was an added bonus that everybody loved.
