About this apartment rental
Wonderful Kalani Kai condo that's located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Walking Distance to Everywhere in Town!
Tiled throughout, No carpet! You'll appreciate a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, good quality cabinets,
Dishwasher, Stove, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Wifi, Cable TV all included! Air Conditioning Wall Unit in Living Room Only, not in the Bedroom.
This first floor condo has views of a lush tropical garden! The Interior space has been extended, so it's a bit larger than other units because the lanai has been removed. There are sliders that open, but no lanai space as a FYI.
A parking space that's close to the front door as well!
Kalani Kai calls has a wonderful pool deck that is finished in beautiful stonework. A community grilling area contributes to the tropical lifestyle and it's practically right outside your front door.
It's just a short walk to Kailua Pier, shopping, restaurants and night life on Alii Drive.

Knutson & Associates will offer guests who book Unit#109 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest!
1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Restaurant/Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge May Apply)
3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
4. Face to Face Arrival/Departure Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book Kalani Kai #109have the option of meeting Property Management Staff upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights and ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

kitchen was equipped but the stove vent/exhaust was filthy. The vents had grease drips that I had to clean. Nasty!
The TV didn't work but after a quick response from a tech person, Shelly (?), it was determined something was wrong with the service. No big deal there but that should have been found out before renters came in. One of the laundry baskets in the closet was full of dirty bedding.

Clean and well supplied property. We were close to the pool and grills. We were disappointed that there was no AC in the bedroom, only in the living room, and it was very hot.

The size of the accommodation is very nice, however, it has a very musty, damp and dirty smell to it. Being on the ground level there is a lot of noise from neighbors coming and going cars driving by etc. is very hard to get rest at night.
I also did not appreciate getting a call after the first day to solicit me to buy properties? One more note on the downside was how much cleaning up of the property was required of us as guest. Taking out our trash, doing the laundry, stripping the sheets off the bed, etc. these are things you expect to be drugged by the cleaning service.
The location was good to many local conveniences, and it was easy to get around.
