Had a but of mis communication on arrival.

The property location is brilliant, having visited Cortona previously we were aware of its hilly location and was expecting to walk downhill into the town and uphill back, was pleasantly surprised to find only a little uphill from main town street and square. The property is of a good size and has an excellent outdoor space / patio overlooking the countryside, we’ll miss that view but hope to visit again one day, also was very quiet considering close proximity to town. Driving in Cortona is not for the feint hearted, fortunately a car is not required for exploring the town as all is within walking distance.

The property has a wonderful shower cut out of the hillside rock, although we did find had poor drainage and tended to overflow into the bathroom, also being typically British my wife and I only drink tea and had to boil water in a pan due to lack of kettle.
