MAISON HULOTTE

The location was outstanding…it’s literally right next to chateau Amboise and the Loire river. The breakfast was phenomenal. - Oh my goodness the cookies were heavenly! The owner was delightful and went above and beyond to accommodate her guests.

The one thing that would make me hesitate from using this property again is that there is no AC. I literally did not sleep two nights in a row because the room was so hot even with the fan that she provided. It was unbearable unfortunately. Also I had to carry up my suitcase up a flight of stairs which might cause issues for some. I am unsure how I feel about the bathtub. It wouldn’t have worked for older people but it was unique.

We couldn't have been more excited for our stay at Maison Hulotte! We were blown away by how beautiful the property and home were. Everything felt intentional from the design of the common spaces, the rooms and decor and the beautiful spread of baked good we were greeted with each morning.

Bathroom privacy not to everyone’s choice

I’m absolutely delighted with this place! It is full of art and has such a unique and inspiring atmosphere. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. The host was wonderful – kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience. I would happily stay here again!
