Ravissante maison à St Paul de Vence

L’accueil toujours aussi agréable de notre hôtesse, l’équipement de la maison, la tranquillité du quartier.

We had a wonderful week in St Paul de Vence. We loved just staying at the house as it is so spacious and comfortable. The balcony at the back of the house, from the kitchen was our favourite spot to relax, as it has a wonderful view, firstly over nearby attractive properties, including an olive grove - and then further away down the hill towards the hills/sea in two places. Every evening a lovely place to sit for a drink. Very comfortable bed, a quality shower and easy to control air conditioning. The house is fairly cool anyway. Lots of different spots to sit inside and outside. We were able to visit many places by car - Cagnes Sur Mer, St Paul de Vence - both with stunning old towns, Antibes, Renoir’s house and garden - you could easily go to Nice or Monaco. We took the train to Menton too. We ate out a couple of times in the evening and used Uber which worked well. We always enjoyed returning to the house. It also felt very safe. A lovely place! Additionally, Michelle is a very helpful host.

There isn’t really any way round using a car to get around - or an Uber - not really possible to walk to a shop, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The local E.Leclerc hyper market was not far and was amazing to look around - also lots of local food shops, boulangeries etc in Cagnes Sur Mer.
