The proximity to the beach was excellent. Also, an easily walkable distance to bars, restaurants, shops, and the weekly market. The property seemed very dated to us with furniture, bed linens, and general interior design (uneven paint jobs, skirting board coming away in places, cracking of paint and plaster coming down the stairs). Also, (a problem I fixed) the shower curtain was placed at a height where the extra length was accumulating under our feet and presenting a trip hazard while in the shower. Fortunately, I was able to unscrew the tension rod and raise the height of the curtain. Very early on I. For me with kids very difficult without microwave in kitchen to make milk hot and also stairs are a bit uncomfortable for kids
