The gated entrance really set the scene in a smart part of town. Up some steps and into the front door. The sight for weary travelers was delightful. Shiney marble floor, clean crisp furniture and a galley kitchen with more than the basics. Coffee, tea, milk, fresh juice.
Two spacious bedrooms lavishly decorated and two bathrooms which were all very shiney and clean. It's one of the nicest apartments on Booking.com I've stayed in.
I was warned to be aware of theft in the area. Absolutely no need to worry at the time we arrived 6pm not a soul about and definitely one of the more up market areas I've experienced in Italy. Obviously when the ruins are open it's possibly 'open season' for people less fortunate than ourselves.
It's next to a busy road which of course one can see on a map, the traffic is endless however it's not stop start and hooting traffic it's fast I'm going somewhere traffic. The train track is on the other side of the property and goes all night. The apartment has triple glazing and Aircon.

This is a great option for any traveler. The owners were in contact with us since we made the booking and were always available to answer questions or offer help. We arrived quite late due to traffic from Rome, but it was no problem for them to meet us at the property when we arrived and explain how everything worked. They only speak Italian, but Google translated worked like a dream!
Pictures are a 100% accurate.
The location is close not only to the main sights but also to restaurants and other amenities. Yes, there is a train running behind the property, but the windows are double-glazed, so it really wasn’t that bothersome. I would recommend this any day.

Dealing with host. We did not stay as there were not enough beds. Hosts were very gracious in refunding our fees which was great for our budget
