The hotel was spacious and clean with a fab communal area with a large TV and comfy sofas and there was a nice little outside garden space. The breakfast was hearty and filling and the owner Dave couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The large car parking area was really good too. To sum up we had a very comfortable night's stay, made use of the amenities, enjoyed our breakfast and would stay there again if we were in the area.
The location and appearance of the front of the hotel from the outside didn't make a very good initial impression when we arrived, however when we drove around the back and parked, we were happier with our decision to stay there.

It was a last minute budget booking. Location on the Wirral next to the ferry terminal was excellent: nice way to get to the city and the view from the room was amazing. Looked basic from the outside, but inside it had all been recently done up and was spotless. People were very friendly and chatty and the breakfast was good too!
It exceeded any reasonable expectation. Perhaps there could have been a free helicopter service to Liverpool with a private helipad??? Perhaps the weather was a bit too hot and sunny...

It’s a bit outside of the city where I had to go daily though Dave gave us all the assistance to make it easier each day

We didn't stay. Area run down, public areas in need of decoration - very institutional looking. Room ok but very small and cramped. Owner friendly but we just didn't feel comfortable so decided to drive home a day early.
