Agerola und die Unterkunft waren für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt um die Amalfiküste zu erkunden und nicht mitten im Touristenrummel zu sein. Amalfi und Positano waren, wie schon so oft zu lesen, sehr überfüllt und wir haben die Zeit im schönen und ruhigeren Bergdorf mit seinen guten Restaurants sehr genossen. Wir waren mit dem Bus unterwegs. Es klappte gut, war aber teilweise schon ein Stress (vor allem in Amalfi). Die Wohnung ist zentral und doch sehr ruhig gelegen, mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht und war blitzsauber. Die Waschmaschine war ein grosses Plus für uns Wanderer. Giovanni und Maria sind sehr nette Gastgeber und haben uns bei Fragen immer weitergeholfen. Wer gerne neapolitanische Pizzas isst, empfehlen wir die Pizzeria Garden Pizza Agerola. Der Name mag abschrecken ;-), die Pizza war aber 1. Klasse, die Bedienung&Pizzaiolos äusserst freundlich. Die Wanderung Sentiero degli Dei haben wir frühmorgens gestartet und waren fast alleine unterwegs.

Giovanni was an amazing host. Met us at the gate and gave us a full run through and was so friendly every time we saw him. The location is in a small, authentic village/town with much fewer tourists than any of the other towns on the coast. The villa is well appointed, spotless, and has everything you need.
