Location was amazing and house was comfortable
Thought considering the amount of messages we had about check in and checking out so they could clean was a bit contradictory as we feel it wasn’t clean at all, the bathroom upstairs was dirty and dusty, used wet wipes in the bedside table, cobwebs in the living room and the oven was full of grease and food debris, bins was already full so couldn’t use them, dirty dishes in the cupboards and ivy growing in through the conservatory windows, there is no way a cleaner had been in there.

The house is very difficult to find. It would be helpful, particularly for anyone with mobility issues, if the listing alerted guests to the steps to access the property.
Finding the house is frustrating and not straightforward but once you realise how to get there it's okay for coming and going during the stay.
There is a faint musty smell in the house but this is not overpowering.
Some info on sorting the rubbish would help. It doesn't feel right to put all the rubbish in the same bag as other properties in the row had recycling bags.

Great size, good size bedrooms and living space. 2 bathrooms was great too. Short distance from town.
It was tricky to get to in the dark. The front door light didn’t work so had use our phone torches. It is a distance from the car so transporting luggage and shopping was inconvenient. Whilst close to the town, the walking route in the dark is unpleasant and uncomfortable for a lone female.
The bed on the ground floor was incredibly creaky, springs gone and very uncomfortable. Some of the crockery was dirty as was the dishwasher. There was literally one tea spoon only and insufficient tea towels. A coffee table would have been useful as per the photos. Soft furnishings were tired.
