Excellent location , clean tidy have everything you need in lodge brilliant if your tyre for hikes and sight seeing fantastic location, right next to Lake District national park which is fantastic for kids
We would definitely stay again
OThe fact that swimming was £15pp even children family of 4 cost £60 that was the only negative I’d say , other than that

Location and size of lodge was perfect
Cleanliness of the whole lodge was not very good. The children found hair n their bed and I found a piece of glass on the floor.
There was also mould in the en suite bathroom which put us off having a lovely bath.
We enjoyed the lodge but was wary of how clean it was and the sofa cushions, carpets, and general up keep needs a good cleaning or replacement.
