Appartamento Palazzo dei Duchi

A really lovely apartment spread over 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. In a lovely old building but renovated to a modern standard. Well situated for a walk into the old village centre or down to the railway station, though the location would not be suited to anyone with mobility needs due to stairs/steps, inclines and cobbles. Avigliana is a lovely little town and the rail links to Turin or further into the mountains are good. We visited in January and the apartment was lovely and warm and very comfortable. It's not obvious from Google Maps, etc. how to find the apartment but the owner sent a great little high-speed video which shows the trail to follow to get into the property, find the keysafe and then the front door. Contact with the owner was via WhatsApp and was very good.

Our only issue was with the water temperature in the shower in the upstairs bathroom, which was temperamental even though the water in the hand basin next to it would remain at a constant temperature. But it just required a bit of patience and fiddling with the thermostat (which I assume is faulty). I mentioned this to the owner when we were leaving and he said he would get it looked at straight away.

Très bon emplacement de l'appartement dans le vieux centre ville comme nous le souhaitions. La place de parking gratuite est très appréciable. L'appartement est moderne, particulièrement spacieux et lumineux, il ne manque absolument rien! Je le recommande vivement!
