Located in a beautiful location on the Turracher Höhe, this very nicely furnished semi-detached Lodge has breathtaking views of the mountain world from both the living room and the terrace. The lake and restaurants are within walking distance. In three of the four bedrooms, the double beds can also be used as two single beds, so you have a choice depending on the travelling party. In the basement there is a wellness area with a sauna
In winter, the mountain landscape lies under a thick carpet of snow and the green Alpine meadows are transformed into perfectly groomed slopes. Snow-sure, wide pistes and fast comfortable lifts make this a wonderful ski area for the whole family. Thanks to the large amounts of snow on Turracher Höhe, it is often possible to ski right up to near the Lodge or to the slopes. So a ski in - ski out with the ski bus stop right outside the door! The Nocky Express stops right outside the door and gets you to the ski lifts in 5 minutes. Rather not ski for a day? On the Turracher Höhe you can also enjoy beautiful cross-country skiing, winter hiking, sledding and ice-skating on the Turrach See. Pure nature and a wide range of sporting activities make the Turracher Höhe a versatile holiday destination in the summer months too. There is plenty to do for young and old alike. Especially for families, the area offers many organised activities such as themed walks and treasure hunts. Furthermore, there is a Bike Park, the Nocky Flitzer alpine roller coaster and water cycling and supping are among the possibilities. Pure tranquillity is what you will find as soon as you put on your hiking boots. Nestled between the mountain ranges of the Niedere Tauern and the Nockberge mountains, it is tremendous fun. Wir hatten zu viert eine sehr erholsame Woche in der Lodge. Das Haus ist neu und komfortabel eingerichtet. Es ist reichlich Platz und geräumig. Der Saunabereich lädt nach einem Skitag zum Verweilen ein. Ein offener Kamin im Wohnbereich macht es noch gemütlicher. Wir hatten reichlich Schneefall - die Zufahrt zum Haus wurde täglich freigeräumt. In der Doppelgarage befindet sich eine Heizung für Skischuhe. Alles in allem top. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, wenn man selbst vor Ort kochen möchte.

Wir haben die Turrach Lodge für eine Woche mit zwei Familien (Kinder im Alter von 8 bis 14 Jahren) genutzt. Die Lodge hat geräumige Zimmer und ist komplett ausgestattet. Die Unterkunft befindet sich etwas außerhalb der Turracher Höhe. Von der Turracher Höhe aus, einem kleinen Dorf, in dem etwa 50 Menschen leben, gibt es im Sommer verschiedene lustige Aktivitäten wie Rodeln, Bergwandern und Downhill-Mountainbiking. Außerdem kann man gut essen, wie zum Beispiel auf der K-Alm. Etwa fünfundvierzig Autominuten entfernt liegen wunderschöne Seen, die zum Schwimmen und Paddeln einladen, wie der Millstätter See und der Ossiacher See. Kurzum, ein Spitzenurlaub!

Bei der Buchung hätte man darauf hinweisen sollen, dass es noch nicht fertig ist und eher eine Baustelle als ein gemütliches Chalet zu sein scheint ... Wir haben morgens vom Esstisch aus auf das Frühstück auf der Dixie geschaut, wo die Bauarbeiter abwechselnd ihren morgendlichen Bedürfnissen nachgingen ... Auf der anderen Seite haben wir auf große Baucontainer für den Bauschutt geschaut ... Bei der Ankunft war die Garage voller Müll von den Vormietern ... auch etwas unglücklich. Viele Lampen darin waren nur Glühbirnen, sie hatten noch keine "richtigen" Lampen aufgehängt. Wir fahren einen Kombi, der zu groß für die Garage war! Also konnten wir sie die ganze Woche nicht schließen ...
