The Valentine is very special & unique boutique vacation rental in Palm Springs just a few blocks south of downtown. Owned & operated by two sisters, Jen & Kat, The Val was purchased in 2017 & restored with the help of their family. It boasts three living areas- The Leda, The Ann Louise, and The Lolita, which are named after their grandmothers & great aunt. The property itself was named after their papa, Thomas Valentine, who was born on Valentine’s Day.
THE GROUNDS:
-Fully enclosed/gated property with mature ficus trees, providing security and privacy
-Front porch of The Leda has a small settee that seats two with side tables
Backyard:
-Spacious oval shaped pool: 5 single lounge chaise loungers, two double chaise loungers, two chairs with ottomans & three floor pool cushions surround pool deck
*PLEASE NOTE: The "deep" area of the pool is actually quite shallow and only goes up to 5 feet- NO DIVING/JUMPING
-Pool can be heated for additional fee ($90/day)
-Outdoor Kitchen and BBQ consists of gas grill, sink, single gas burner and tiled counter space for food prep
-Outdoor Dining Room: Marble table under covered pergola, seats up to 8, chandelier with dimmer above table
-Outdoor Family Room: Spun Fiberglass set and additional chairs seats between 8-10 people total, has a coffee table and chandelier above seating area with dimmer
-Patio attached to The Lolita (Casita): L shaped outdoor banquette, additional chairs and coffee table, seats 8
-Small patio attached to The Ann Louise has outdoor bistro set that seats 2
-Wifi throughout premises
THE LEDA :
-Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed, closet & drawers
-Bedroom 2: 1 King Sized Bed, closet & drawers
-Full Kitchen (Includes: Refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, sink with garbage disposal, coffee maker etc.)
-Breakfast nook seats 4
-Bathroom (shower, no bathtub)
-Large living/family room with oversized sectional that can seat up to 10
-Fireplace
-Smart TV in living/family room which gives you access to streamers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc.
-Wifi
-Entrance/exit via front door as well as door that leads out to the backyard from the kitchen
-Door connects to The Ann Louise through the living/family room
THE ANN LOUISE:
-1 Bedroom: 1 Queen bed, closet and private outdoor patio connected to the bedroom. Patio also has a gate that leads to the backyard.
-Bathroom (shower, no bathtub)
-Kitchenette/Wet Bar includes: Full sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dish-ware/flatware etc.
-Living/Family room has oversized couch that seats 4+ people & a Smart TV which gives you access to streamers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc.
-Wifi
-Entrance/exit through the front door, or out to the back via slider in bedroom
-Hotel door connects to The Leda (Unit 1) through the living/family room
THE LOLITA :
-Bedroom 1: Queen bed, closet & sliders leading to backyard with a view of the pool
-Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, closet and view of the side cactus garden
-Bathroom (shower, no bathtub)
-Open concept Living/Family room meets Dining room: Sofa seats 4, dining room table seats 6.
-Kitchenette/Wet Bar includes: Full sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dish-ware/flatware etc.
-Double french doors from main living/dining space lead to a private courtyard that seats up to 8
-Wifi
-Entrance/exit through the front door, slider in first bedroom, french doors that lead to patio with gate
EXTRAS:
-Cleaning Fee $500
*Please note: If staying for a longer period of time, we require cleaning during your stay to maintain upkeep/cleanliness of the property/units
-Pool heating fee $90 per day
*It is mandatory that all guests sign our Rental Agreement which includes house rules, this must be signed and returned within 72 hours of receipt.*

This property is designed with every detail fitting a 60’s mod theme. I hosted a weekend for my dear friend and all guests enjoyed the glamorous space. We were very pleased with all amenities and communication from the manager. Thank you Valentine for a memorable weekend!
