Welcome to your cozy mountain retreat in beautiful Maggie Valley!
Formerly known as High Country Chalet, this idyllic cabin is tucked into the peaceful and highly sought-after Crockett's Meadow—just 5 miles from Cataloochee Ski Area and 19 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Surrounded by charming cabins and framed by stunning mountain views, this home offers the perfect balance of serenity and convenience. The cabin’s decor changes with the seasons, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere year-round.
Sleeping Arrangements:
This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests total: 6 adults and 2 children.
3 bedrooms:
• Two rooms with plush king-sized beds
• One room with a queen bed and a twin daybed with trundle—ideal for kids
All beds are wrapped in soft, high-quality linens, and each room has ample space for your belongings.
The main-level bedroom features exposed wood ceilings, a fireplace, and direct access to a full bath. The upstairs bedrooms share a spacious second bathroom with a tub-shower combo. Towels are provided for your convenience.
Living Spaces & Amenities:
Fully equipped kitchen with both a Keurig and standard coffee maker
Propane fireplace both in the living room and on the deck—perfect for ambiance and warmth (not suitable for roasting marshmallows)
TVs in every bedroom (4 tvs total, youtube tv provided)
High-speed WiFi
Board games, PlayStation 4, and a Pack ‘n Play available for family fun
Washer and dryer in the home for added convenience

We loved staying here while visiting Maggie Valley for skiing! The house was close to everything. It was magical seeing the elk walking in the neighborhood. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cabin was very comfortable and had everything to make you feel right at home. We went snow tubing and our son and family went skiing for the first time. Enjoyed how quite the community was. We loved seeing all the elk just roaming around. Finished are vacation off by going to Joey's pancake house. Everything we had was delicious. This was our first time visiting this area and would love to return.

Group of ladies I graduated HS with 20+ years ago take an annual trip together. House/location was perfect. We enjoyed having the use of the kitchen for meals, big comfy couch for sitting around catching up on life and watching TV together, and the use of the hot tub and sunrise views. Conveniently located to visit Cherokee Casino and Bryson City, both day trips we made. Definitely a favorite to save for future visits.
