We have just had a lovely long weekend in Thresher Cottage. Very clean with everything you need. The location is excellent woodland, fields and animals. The bonus was a heated swimming pool. Tracy was a very good host and informative. We only wish we had more time to explore more around Low Costa the site. We would certainly recommend Low Costa Mill and would love to return again sometime.

Nice location and the availability of the swimming pool is a good selling point. Clearly being on a timetable make it a bit more difficult.
There are lovely grounds and plenty of safe areas for kids to play but a pond would mean smaller kids would need n eye kept on.
Its a few miles from the village
Perfectly functional and reasonably well equipped. TV had SKy/ Netflix options which is nice along with Wifi fast enough to allow me to teach live to University in Glasgow.
It is showing its age a little bit having been converted about thirty years ago but I think this was an astute contrast as we had been in a barn converted within the last year the previous weekend.
I think hosts could have been warmer and not forget while its been difficult for businesses making customers feel welcome and not a neutral arrival makes all the difference - a wee welcome pack is a common sense thing to do.
