About this house rental
7.5 acre rustic paradise with two “tanks” or ponds, within walking distance of Lake Texoma. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a large back porch that overlooks property. Fire pit, games galore and a huge video library.
Lake Texoma is a 20 minute walk to the south or 10 minute walk to the west. Buncombe Creek Marina and Taylor’s View beach are a 7 minute drive.
3 bikes available for guests to enjoy. Owner accepts no liability for guests use of the aforementioned. Dogs welcome but additional fees apply.

We would have given this a 5, but some of the items listed were not working. The golf cart that was listed did not work and we ended up having to rent one while we were there. (One of the reasons we chose this property). To get to the beach at the lake you will need a golf cart or ATV or a long walk. The grill on the back porch did not work, which we were told it worked the last time someone was there. We finally found the bikes but no air in the tires. The paddle boat was out back but did not work. The canoe was just floating out on the pond. The 10 min walk to the lake is actually to homeowners personal docks, not lake access. Overall the house was beautiful and had everything you would need. Tons of movies and board games. The price per night would be great had everything listed was working.

Initially, we had a little difficulty locating the key. Throughout the stay we saw saw several bugs. The golf cart wasn’t strong enough to use. The view of the tank was nice and the property was very convenient to the lake. Overall, if there was an extermination and a few repairs, this property has potential.
