About this bed and breakfast
Rusty's Loft is a second story chalet style one room apartment, with 360 degree views of Farm fields, pond and woods. We kept the walls to a minimum to preserve the views. There is a large wrap around deck with views of the pond. The 900 sf space includes a full bath and full kitchen with all appliances and accessories. The full bathroom is fully furnished with lots of towels and most bathroom necessities including soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues and tp. The space includes a unique queen size bed made of Texas cypress. The new couch folds out and there is a queen air mattress for the third bed. Linens are included. This is just one room, so there is little privacy, but it is very cozy. A nice sitting area allows for games or conversation and the bar has four swivel bar stools for dining. Gliders are available for viewing the animals grazing across the road. Behind the loft is a campsite with two rockers and a double person swing with a view of the pond. A fire ring and firewood is provided for your campsite enjoyment. Rusty, the steer and Lexi and Little Bits, the mini horses are fun to watch and meet. The barn across the road is available to explore and also see our barn kitty, Brindle, and the chickens. The creek on the property runs 1200 feet to the south branch of the Portage River. Hiking trails cover the property and the pond is available to kayak, or swim. Sunsets are amazing here and the limited light makes star gazing possible. Quiet and remote, Rusty's Loft is the place you've been looking for to unwind and de-stress.
We use an ozone generator after the loft is thoroughly cleaned to purify and sanitize the space leaving a fresh, clean space for each guest. Pets are welcome with an additional fee.
We have only rented for a couple of years and everything in the space is nearly new. We have a new hearth with simulated fire. A faux sheepskin rug makes the space comfy and warm. Fostoria is a short 6 miles away with dining and shopping including a full Kroger with liquor.

We had another excellent stay at Rusty's Loft as we needed a place to recharge and enjoy what feels like our own private pond for beautiful and peaceful viewing as well as kayaking! The 2nd story loft with wrap around porch makes for tranquility to sit and watch the moonlight over the pond, or just reading. The loft provides all the accommodations one could ask for, and Jay and Heather made our stay feel warm and welcoming. We enjoy this tastefully decorated loft, the peaceful vibe, walking trails and the animals so much! Highly recommend this place for a place to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings!

Extremely clean loft, very quiet area and perfect for star gazing. Kitchen was probably the best stocked I've ever stayed in and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and decor was lovely. Our host gave us a nice tour of the property, and seeing Rusty and the trails were nice and relaxing. Planning to come back in the winter and enjoy the fireplace!

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet beauty of the property and our hosts' golf cart tour of the trails was a bonus! The loft itself was a really nice space. All in all, beautiful property, friendly hosts, and a perfect quiet/serene getaway. Exactly what we were looking for! Thanks!
